LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - August 23, 2023 - To continue to leverage our platform to shine a light on unmet needs within pediatrics medtech, The West Coast Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP), in collaboration with the National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation (NCC-PDI), is announcing Make Your Medical Device Pitch for Kids!™ - Joint NCC-PDI + CTIP Edition, a limited grant opportunity. This year’s competition is focused on remote monitoring and wearable patient monitoring devices for children. Medical devices with adult indications that are expanding or wish to expand their clinical indication to pediatrics are welcome to apply.
The finalists chosen will participate in a live pitch competition where judges will award up to $100,000 in FDA-sponsored grants to the devices selected as most impactful and commercially viable. The pitch competition will take place at the Sheikh Zayed Institute’s 11th Annual Symposium on Pediatric Device Innovation on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Anaheim, California.
