Alex is a Senior Associate at Kaiser Permanente Ventures where she brings over 14 years of experience in healthcare ranging from patient care to digital health product development to evaluating clinical research supporting early-stage ventures.

Prior to joining KP ventures, Alex served as a senior director of product management at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem), driving business strategic alignment across various product teams and identifying partnership opportunities with digital health ventures. Alex was also part of the team leading the largest ongoing digital health RCT to date, studying wearables supporting patients with asthma (tinyurl.com/5cfnkwxy). Alex began her healthcare career practicing occupational therapy across a range of critical care settings at the University of Chicago Medicine, the Cleveland Clinic and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Alex holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, an MS from Rush University in Chicago and BA from the University of Denver. She is passionate advocate for research and innovation in the diabetes sector, having personally witnessed the impact of med tech devices on patients with Type 1 Diabetes.
