Dr. Anne Marie Morse is a board-certified adult neurologist with special qualifications in child neurology and sleep medicine specialist. She is the Director of Child Neurology and Pediatric Sleep Medicine at Janet Weis Children’s Hospital – Geisinger Health System (Danville, Pennsylvania). Dr. Morse is a recognized key opinion leader in sleep medicine, especially with regards to central disorders of hypersomnolence, such as narcolepsy. She has proudly embraced her reputation as a health care disruptor challenging the current delivery of care, embracing digital transformation, and advocating for delivery of care that is through partnership with the patient and community personalizing their wellness journey to their individual needs. As a result, Dr Morse is a highly regarded advisor for multiple advocacy organizations, startup companies and well-established industry partners. Clinically, she and her team deliver transformational care with more than 50% of neurology and sleep visits completed via telemedicine. They have created novel digital tools to improve identification of high-risk patients, provide asynchronous monitoring and closed loop feedback, as well as participate in national healthcare learning systems to continue to redesign the patient journey.  Dr. Morse’s commitment to effective change and involvement of the individual in their own care journey extends into the community, where she has successfully developed and launched an entirely virtually delivered sleep education and screening program called Wake Up and Learn®, which has proven results of successful implementation, change in sleep culture and identified prevalence of sleep disorders in adolescent and adult learners.
