Katherine is the Industry Engagement Manager at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Her role on the Innovate2Impact team is sourcing industry partnerships and investments for Lurie Children’s research and innovation programs. She enjoys seeking out new ways to collaborate with industry partners and building relationships with companies of all sizes.
Katherine holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in healthcare innovation and a BS in Molecular and Cellular Biology, both from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to Lurie Children’s, she was the Program Manager of the mHUB MedTech Accelerator, providing resources to entrepreneurs that are developing disruptive technology solutions aligned with industry needs. Katherine played an integral role in building a program which attracts global startups to Chicago and supports their pathway to commercialization. She previously operated as the Director of Programs & Partnerships at Kids Science Labs, working to create meaningful change in the lives of kids and families through access to experiential education.
